Durablanket® refractory ceramic fiber products are high strength, needled insulating blankets that are made from spun ceramic fibers. The extra-long spun fibers, cross locked through a unique forming process, produce a blanket with exceptional handling strength. Blanket products are completely inorganic and available in a variety of temperature grades, densities, and sizes.
Ceramic Fiber Duraboard® and Isaform products are a family of rigid, high temperature ceramic fiber boards manufactured in a wet forming process using Fiberfrax alumina-silica fibers and binders. All board products offer low thermal conductivity, high temperature stability, uniform density, and excellent resistance to thermal shock.
The Fiberfrax® ceramic fiber paper product line is a unique family of products which is manufactured by forming aluminosilicate fibers in a nonwoven matrix. The ceramic fibers are randomly orientated during manufacture, then held in place with a latex binder system. A specialized paper-making process is statistically controlled to form uniform, lightweight, flexible sheets in a variety of sizes.
Rope products are durable, high temperature, ceramic fiber packing materials that are well-suited for industrial applications. They are noted for their superior insulating and sealing ability to 1260°C (2300°F).
Standard 3-ply, twisted rope is a low density, highly compressible product form.
Braided rope is used where high density and resistance to compression and mechanical abuse are required. Round and square versions of braided rope are available.
Fiberfrax® bulk fibers are available in a variety of chemistries and diameters which can service a wide variety of applications including high temperature fill and packing material for expansion joints, furnace base and tube seals, burner tile packing and chimney insulation.
The Fiberfrax® Specialties family of products includes moldables, pumpables, caulks, coating cements, rigidizers, tamping mix, and Moist-Pack blanket. Many of these products contain a wet, inorganic binder to provide both strength and hardness at elevated temperatures.
The Fiberwall® system of anchoring hardware and accessory components provides an array of attachment options to cover a broad range of fiber lining system designs and application requirements. Fiberwall hardware is available in a variety of metal alloy
grades as well as in various ceramic compositions. Hardware components have been developed to provide optimal service life for layered blanket and board and stackbond linings.

Modules are available in a wide variety of sizes, densities and fastening hardware system options. Anchor–Loc® modules are made from folded ceramic fiber while Anchor–Loc®2 modules are made from blocks of ceramic fiber. Due to the seemingly unlimited module options and variations, we do not have a large stock on hand at any given time. It is best to consult a sales specialist to determine which module is best suited for your specific application. Available by special order.
Insulfrax® S Blanket from Unifrax is their “green” blanket which was developed from a calcium, magnesium, silicate chemistry to provide thermal insulation at continuous operating temperatures up to 2012°F (1100°C). It meets European regulatory requirement (Directive 97/69/EC) and is not classified as Hazardous. Insulfrax S blanket is used in a wide range of applications including refractory linings, thermal insulation, appliances and molten aluminum transfer.
Isofrax® Thermal Insulation is utilizes a patented silica-magnesia chemistry to solve a variety of high-temperature application problems. Isofrax 1260C Blanket has the high-temperature performance characteristics required in many applications at temperatures up to 2300°F/1260°C and also meets European regulatory requirements (Directive 97/69/EC).
